Our goal is to build products and services which live up to the importance of this major life event.

The Wedding Party team members have finished five Ironman triathlons, designed a spaceship to send to Mars for NASA, have obtained two black belts, sent experiments into space on Space Shuttle Endeavour, been blessed by Tibetan monks in Shangri-La, and one of us is a direct descendent of the dude who invented B-trees. We’ve lived in 21 cities & visited 57 countries.

The team is is composed of a marketer, a designer and five engineers. We're backed by amazing investors like NEA, and Felicis Ventures as well as great angel investors.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Build fast, responsive web experiences. Web technology has developed dramatically and you will use the latest in JS, HTML, and CSS to change the way people use the web for their weddings.

Work closely with design, and product leads. Creating gorgeous experiences is a collaborative exercise and you will lead by bringing your depth of knowledge to the table.

You care. Not only about the technology but the user experience as well. You strive to build smooth and stunningly beautiful interfaces.

You are an amazing developer. Technical challenges of all types excite you. You are interested in contributing your opinions and perspective to help the team solve the challenges that our users face.

ABOUT OUR CULTURE:

At Wedding Party, we pride ourselves in having a great engineering culture. We’re regulars at meetups, dabble in hackathons, have our very own little book club (we dissected POODR, now we're on to GOOS) and are relentless in our pursuit of truly awesome software development.

While we primarily speak Ruby, Objective-C and Java, we also spend considerable time exploring other technologies and languages, constantly honing our tools along the way (vim, Sublime Text, bash scripts, we love em all!).
